Is St. Anton a strong long-term investment?

Yes. As one of the most established resorts in the Arlberg, St. Anton benefits from international recognition and consistent demand. Properties are hard to come by here, so when they do, it is particularly special.

How extensive is the skiing?

St. Anton forms part of the Arlberg ski area, offering over 300km of interconnected pistes and some of Austria’s best off-piste terrain. The Flexenbahn lift allows direct ski access into Lech.

What are the properties like in St. Anton?

The resort offers a wide range of high-end options, from traditional Tyrolean chalets to modern ski in, ski out apartments with luxury amenities. As there is limited development space and strong demand, well-located properties tend to have premium prices.

What type of buyers invest in St. Anton?

St. Anton attracts a mix of buyers. St Anton is great for buyers who want a lively, social ski base with lots of apres, as well as investors who are looking for a strong rental demand. For those who prioritise world-class skiing and a vibrant village atmosphere over quieter, purely residential resorts, this is a fantastic choice.

Is there dual-season demand in St. Anton

Yes. Even though winter skiing drives the majority of demand, the resort also attracts visitors in summer for hiking, mountain biking and traditional alpine events.

Het dorp

St. Anton began as a small, farming village in the 13th Century along the Arlberg railway line. The centre is easy to walk around and has a beautiful, old aesthetic with traditional Tyrolean houses as well as contemporary alpine buildings. In winter the village is well known for its apres ski scene and a lively atmosphere, with several famous bars and restaurants recognised across Europe. Even without the tourism, there is a permanent local community and year-round services including shops, cafes and cultural venues such as the local ski museum.
